Or what you might typically call an 'about' page.
In the late 1990s Paul Mullett left his depressing and mind numbing job at a bank behind him in search of something better. Not chasing the dollar, but seeking a career that offered up new challenges and allowed, even encouraged, self expression and creativity.
Cut forward to 2003 and Paul was running MINI2.com as a full time hobby during evenings and at weekends, while having a fantastic time working as Project Manager in a forward thinking and enthusiastic IT and eLearning company based in Bedfordshire, UK. The work was challenging and varied, with a client base including the likes of Virgin Mobile and BMW.
It was this year that two amazing things happened. A little Monkey was born, and Paul left his job to look after his new Son full time, running MINI2 all the other hours of the day (and night).
With the incredible support of his wife Abi, and an amazing team of moderators and helpers at MINI2, his Son is turning out to be all he could wish for, and MINI2 more than he ever dared dream, establishing itself as the leading global new MINI resource and community.
With the launch of new blogging service 'the Motorcade', and the little Monkey rapidly approaching school age, time was right to stop stumbling along, get a bit more serious (but not too serious), and start Trained Monkeys. A new identity, responsible for all my current and future projects, whatever they may be!
In late 2007, MINI2 was acquired by AutoForums.com, opening up many fresh challenges and opportunities for the future. Not to mention allowing time to sleep before the birth of little Monkey number two.
